Since 2005, Lyon-based Arbitraire has been publishing comic books with one main goal: to support and promote original, contemporary graphic work. Our editorial policy focuses on the fictional, the absurd, the political and the imaginary. First and foremost, we are dedicated to publishing books with innovative,
unusual art and writing. Our books play with and challenge conventions and traditional formats, while exploring the relationship between art and its underlying craft.
