Ici-bas is a publishing house which is committed to disseminating critical tools forged from real life experience. Ici-bas offers texts, graphic books, and films that aim to contribute to the understanding of the world around us— here, now, there, yesterday. The result of slow, collective work and meticulous attention given to the physical object, each of Ici-bas’s publications is a small stone within an infinite structure made up of other books with which they resonate, other struggles that nourish our actions and, we hope, contribute to the emergence of other futures.
Ici-bas is the new name of éditions CMDE, founded in 2011.
