In this case, it is a little mischievous monkey, who has to face, daily, the traps of the jungle and its many predators. He is so smart that there is no trap he cannot escape. He embodies the victory of brain over muscle, of refinement over set 2000 years later reminds us that civilisation was not built on good feelings and that the weakest always ends up dead one way or another…
Four years before being awarded the Fauve d’or (best comic book prize) at the 37th Angoulême International Comics Festival, Winshluss was already offering us an amazing work of mastery and conciseness which ranked him among the best authors of his generation.
